Start voting for the European Parliament, the results in late night

Polling station are open from 7am to 11pm: eleven electoral lists presented for the Southern District and 73 deputies Italian, who - after the results of the election review - will enter the ranks of the European Parliament. Five, however, the candidates for the title of President.

Martin Schulz - Candidate of the Party of European Socialists , known in Italy for the clash happened with Silvio Berlusconi, who called him "Kapo". His list "L'altra Europa con Tsipras" is supported in Italy by Sel of Nichi Vendola, Governor of Apulia. Guy Verhofstadt - Candidate for the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats, represents all those who do not recognize themselves in the EPP, proposes the formation of the United States of Europe.

José Bové and Ska Keller - Candidates for the Greens , both list headers inspirational environmentalist. 49 million of Italians should go to the polls, but abstention leaves its traces: only 16% of the population - in fact - went to vote (data from the Ministry of the Interior at 12am)
